Evenings at the roman theatre will start at 8.30pm
with half an hour of open singing
Since the very beginning of the Choralies, and for the 20th time, the daily open singing starts off every evening at Vaison’s ancient Roman theatre. This will once again be a unique and magical moment filled with emotion when thousands of voices unite to sing favourite polyphonic pieces learned over the years.
Spectators and singers alike express or taste the profound soul of the Choralies in all of its entire human and historic dimension at this gathering.
Whether you have experienced it once or many times, the open singing to which the entire town converges is without a doubt the defining moment of the Choralies, the one image that stays in our memories for years, the one rendezvous that you will not want to miss.
Nestor Zadoff will take the lead during the open singing.
The open singing book will be handed out to all participants upon their arrival.
